Amul Ghee Vs Shahji Ghee : Which Ghee Is Better? Shahji Ghee

Amul Ghee Vs Shahji Ghee : Which Ghee Is Better?

We have known Amul Ghee since childhood. We have been seeing advertisements about it on TV and radio for years. Due to repeated viewings, Amul has become ingrained in our minds, and along with it, we also have an emotional inclination somewhere. Its tagline really impresses us. Amul: The taste of India

Well, we have feelings attached to Amul. It is also correct that Amul is an indigenous brand. We love Amul too. But have we ever raised questions about Amul? Have we ever tried to know the things Amul does in its advertisements? Do they ensure the quality they talk about in their products?

Today, we will discuss all of these concerns as well as introduce you to a new ghee brand, Shahji Ghee, which has been selling its Desi ghee in rural areas since 1957 and is known for its quality.

What is Amul Ghee?

Amul Ghee

Amul ghee is a clarified butter made from cow's milk. It is made by the Amul brand, which is owned by farmers in Gujarat, India. It has a rich, creamy taste and is often used in Indian cuisine for cooking, baking, and frying.

Amul ghee is made from fresh cream and has a characteristically rich aroma as well as a granular texture. It does not use the traditional bilona method for ghee-making. Amul Ghee is an ethnic product made by dairies with decades of experience that is high in vitamins A, D, E, and K.

How Amul Ghee Is Formed?

Amul ghee is formed by churning the cream, which is the top layer of the milk. This cream is then boiled, and the butter that is formed is skimmed off the surface. The butter is then clarified by heating it, and then the impurities are removed. Finally, the pure clarified butter is allowed to cool and set, resulting in the formation of Amul ghee.

Is Amul A Pure Cow's Ghee?

Amul ghee is not made from pure A2 cow milk (Indian Desi cow milk), but rather from a combination of Indian cow, Jersey cow, and buffalo milk. According to Ayurveda, A2 ghee made from A2 milk is the purest form of ghee and is also hand-churned with a wooden churner called the bilona method. All of these factors contribute to the purest form of ghee.

What is Shahji Ghee?

Shahji ghee has been one of the most popular and best ghee in India since 1957. Shahji Ghee has had a great influence on producing pure organic A2 cow ghee, and they are using the ancient bilona method to make pure A2 desi ghee.

This is a family-owned business started in Meerut in 1957 by the late Shri Arjun Das Ahuja, who began by selling milk and was affectionately known as "Shahji" by those around him. His company has always been known for the purity and freshness of its dairy products, as well as its core values of customer satisfaction and fairness. Shahji Desi Ghee is an attempt to carry on the same legacy and return India to its traditional values of purity and freshness.

How Shahji Ghee Is Formed?

Shahji ghee is formed from curd by using the Vedic bilona method. Ghee has traditionally been made using the bilona (a wooden churner) for making ghee from curd. It is a manual process that involves churning butter from curd and producing buttermilk as a byproduct. The butter is then cooked until the water evaporates and only pure ghee remains.

Shahji Ghee uses the slow-churning bilona method to produce all of its ghee varieties. It is made with boiled and cooled cow's milk. This milk is then curdled by adding a small amount of curd and kept at room temperature. When the curd has hardened, butter is extracted and cooked to make ghee. You will receive pure, unadulterated ghee.

Is Shahji A Pure Cow Ghee?

Yes, Shahji is pure cow ghee; they make their ghee by using A2 cow milk by the Vedic bilona method. They make premium, high-quality ghee from three indigenous A2 grass-fed cattle, i.e., the Sahiwal cow, the Gir cow, and the Murrah buffalo.

Why Is Amul Ghee Cheaper than Shahji Ghee?

Amul ghee is cheaper than Shahji ghee because they do not use high-quality A2 milk for ghee-making. They use foreign-breed Jersey cows' and normal breeds' milk for ghee production. And they use machinery for the ghee-making process. Jersey cows produce A1 milk.

Shahji ghee, on the other hand, uses A2 milk to make ghee, which is health-friendly. They use desi cows' milk for ghee-making, like Sahiwal, Gir, and Murrah buffaloes. They do not use any mechanical assistance when making ghee. They make their ghee manually using the Vedic bilona method. So that is why Shahji ghee is more expensive than Amul ghee.

Which Is More Healthy Amul Ghee Or Shahji A2 Desi Ghee?

Shahji A2 desi ghee is healthier than Amul ghee because Shahji uses A2 milk for ghee making, while Amul uses mostly A1 or a mixture of A1 and A2 milk for their ghee making. And we know that A2 milk is more beneficial for the body than A1 milk.

And second, Shahji makes their ghee by churning curd, while Amul makes their ghee by churning cream. And curd churned ghee is more beneficial than cream-churned ghee. So now you can decide which ghee is more healthy for you.

Which Ghee Should You Buy Amul Or Shahji Ghee?

This is your choice of preference, but your health is the greatest wealth in this world. Nothing is more valuable than it. If you are conscious of your health and respect your hard-earned money, then we recommend that you buy high-quality premium A2 ghee. Good quality ghee will enhance your health, but bad and cheap ghee will degrade it. So, take your decisions wisely.
