1. Our A2 Cow Desi Ghee is made from Sahiwal Breed Cow.
It is a breed of ‘Zebu cattle’ and is considered to be one of the best milch cattle breeds in India.  
2. Sahiwal is one of the endangered species of cow which is very popular among the farmers. The reason for its popularity is that Sahiwal is comparatively more efficient in terms of milk production and birth to young ones.
Qualities of Sahiwal:
3. The cow has an ability to give 12-15 kg milk daily and 3000-4000 kg per year.
4. Only the Sahiwal breed contained allele A2 which contained proline instead of histidine protein found in milk of other breeds. Sahiwal’s milk acts as a boon to humanity which is helpful in curing several diseases like cholesterol, diabetes and heart problems.
Traditional Bilona Process

Difference Between A2 & A1 Cow
A1 milk is obtained from cows of Western origin like Holstein, Friesian, Jersey etc. and yields large quantities of milk. A2 milk, on the other hand, is obtained from cows of Indian origin like Gir, Sahiwal etc.
