We make our A2 ghee by hand-churning it according to a 3000-year-old Vedic tradition known as the Bilona Method. Raw, unprocessed cow milk is boiled in a clay pot, where it is then turned into curd. In order to preserve the nutrients, the curd is also hand-churned from the cooked milk. Separating the butter from the ghee is the last stage.

The traditional method of making ghee starts with fresh milking of desi cows. The milk is boiled to remove bacteria and other impurities and cooled down to a warm temperature. Setting curds is done in earthen pots. Churning during the bilona process is done with a wooden instrument in an earthen pot.

It has all the properties as described in Vedas and Ayurvedic Shahtras. prepared by the bilona churning method, is costly than the desi ghee prepared with Commercial method where companies use machines and chemicals to prepare ghee.
