In the bustling lanes of Meerut in 1957, my grandfather, Shri Arjun Das Ahuja, didn’t have a marketing budget or a website. He had a milk canister and a code of conduct. He used to say, ‘If you cheat the milk, you cheat the soul.’ He watched as the industry shifted toward mass production, adulteration, and ‘vegetable ghee.’ He refused to change. He stayed small, stayed pure, and stayed honest. Today, Shahji Ghee is simply a continuation of that stubborn refusal to compromise. We aren’t reinventing ghee; we are protecting it.
