Pudina Paratha Ingredients:
- Β½ cup mint leaves (finely chopped)
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tbsp oil
- Β½ tsp carom seeds
- Β½ tsp chilli powder
- Salt to taste
Method of Making Pudina Paratha:
Step 1 – Wash and moderately dry the mint leaves, roast half of them on a hot tawa.
Step 2 β Blend it into a fine powder and set aside. Chop the remaining leaves.
Step 3 β Take whole wheat atta and salt, carrom seeds and chilli powder in a bowl and mix it well.
Step 4 β Add chopped mint leaves and knead till you get soft and smooth dough, using water.
Step 5 β Cover it and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
Step 6 β Divide the dough into 8 equal portions, make smooth balls out of it.
Step 7 β Roll out each ball into a medium sized chapati.
Step 8 β Apply Shahji Ghee over the rolled chapati and sprinkle it with some flour.
Step 9 – Now start pleating the folds like a fan and twist it back into the form of a ball. Set aside for five minutes.
Step 10 β Roll out each portion into 6-inch diameter circle paratha.
Step 11 – Cook the paratha using a Shahji Pure Single Original Desi Ghee of your choice and serve hot and tempting Pudina Paratha.
